THE
RANCH RATES
We
have three cabins, soon to be four available
to accommodate our guests. Most of our guests
come in June, July and August and a few in Sept. There is horseback riding,
fishing, hiking, sightseeing, and historic tours that will keep you busy
if you are going to see it all. We have a campsite on the Bighorn National
Forest where we ride to if you are interested in longer horseback rides
and an overnight camp trip. Some of our guests have decided to spend several
nights at the mountain camp and ride around there. If you prefer, there
is plenty of free time to take it easy. The ranch is about 25 minutes
from Buffalo. In town there is a large free swimming pool, an excellent
golf course, weekly rodeos, and one of the most interesting historic museums
in the country.
Klondike is a working
ranch with livestock being a large part of our business. We trail the
cows to the mountains the end of June every year. After that, we move
them from pasture to pasture at different times. You would be able to
take part in these drives if you would like, and we could arrange the
timing.
Period
of Stay
Minimum Length of booking is one week (7 nights):
Check in Sunday after 3:00 pm; check out Sunday before 11:00 am.
Rates (per week)
Our
weekly rates are $1,375 per person over
the age of 14. Our week is Sunday, 3:00
PM to Sunday, 10:00 AM. We provide
free transportation to and from Casper,
and Sheridan, Wyoming airports. Because of our
style of riding, we are unable to accommodate
the younger children. We are spending a lot
of the time riding in the mountains with the
cattle and have found that it is to demanding
for the younger kids! We ask for 30% deposit
to hold a reservation. All of the charges are
subject to lodging and sales tax, approximately
5%.
The
above price does not include gratuities; we
like to leave this decision up to our guest.
We would prefer to have our guests stay at
least a week. This will allow time to become
accustomed to the saddle and enjoy the country.
The price includes your meals at the ranch
house with our family, your horse, guide, and
cabin. We have one cabin that has a living
room with a fireplace, kitchen, bath, and 3
bedrooms. A second cabin has a living room,
bath, and 2 bedrooms, and a third which has
one bedroom, living room and a bath.
