This is what we have planned so far…
April 19th & 20th
Cutting Practice
April 20th—27th
Branding for 3 or 4 days, lots of riding, and wrestling calves.
May 4th—11th
One-day Cattle Drive with 250 head of mother cows/calves and lots of horseback riding.
May 11th—18th
30-mile Cattle Drive 4-5 days with 500 head of yearling cattle. Camping out on Trail. Experienced riders only.
May 18th—June 15th
Riding on yearlings, doctoring, campouts, etc. Lots of riding these weeks.
June 15th—22th
One day cattle drive 300 cow/calf pairs from the Basch to Klondike and sorting for mountain drive.
June 22nd—29th
3-4 day cattle drive to mountain pasture, will be camping out one night.
June 29th-July 6th
3-4 day cattle drive to Elgin Park Mountain pasture, campout one night, 4th of July rodeo.
July 6th—August 3rd
Chasing cows on mountain and riding on yearlings.
August 3rd—10th
County Fair, lots to do in town, Chasing cows on mountain and riding on yearlings.
August 10th—September 14th
Chasing cows on mountain and riding on yearlings.
September 14th—21st
Mountain west side gathering and cattle drive off mountain takes all week.
September 21st—28th
Mountain South side gathering & cattle drive off mountain takes all week.
Klondike Ranch is open for guests every week February through October.
All our weeks also include... cattle work and horseback riding, rodeos at select times of the year, riding lessons, historical tours upon request, access to our private fishing reservoir with trophy fish, sightseeing, wildlife viewing and photography, and use of our tree-surrounded outdoor hot tub.
